About Our Menu

Executive Chef Justin Melnick

In every region of Italy, each meal is a special event consisting of multiple, small courses prepared from fresh, local ingredients. The food is typically accompanied by wine produced locally to complement the regional cuisine.

At Tomasso, our menu is based on these same Italian traditions. Our seasonally changing menu is designed to encourage you to sample many different items and to share items with your table. We also offer flexibility in the way you order your meal. Dinner can be anywhere from one to six courses. Your dinner can be as extravagant or as simple as you like.

The meal typically begins with one or several selections from our Antipasto section. Most of these items are displayed daily in the dining room. The Antipasti act as the appetizer to get your meal started.

Next comes the Primi, or first course. This is where you will find our fresh pastas that we make daily, personal size pizzas, and soups. These items are served on small plates and act as the prelude to the main course. We encourage sharing if you want to try a variety of Primi offerings with the rest of your table.

The Secondi, or main course, is where you will find our meat, fish, and fowl dishes. These items are served a la carte and we encourage you to order them with Contorni, or side dishes. The Contorni can be ordered for an individual or to share with the table.

To finish your meal, you will find Formaggi (cheese) and Dolci (dessert).

Our wines range from the simple to the extraordinary. We offer a wide selection of wines by the glass. These wines are served in small carafes called "quartini", which hold about one and a half glasses (250 ml). Our house wine is also available in larger carafes and is served, as in the rustic Italian style, in tumblers or you can order from our large selection of wines by the bottle.
